The 16th Southern African Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Association Conference (SAUHMA 2025)

The 16th Southern African Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Association Conference (SAUHMA 2025), in association with the Stellenbosch University Division of Emergency Medicine (SUEM 2025) – taking place at the Biomedical Research Institute located at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa from 09 – 11 April 2025. (Adjacent to Tygerberg Hospital in Parow)

The conference will attract individuals with interest in Diving Medicine, Hyperbaric Medicine and the related fields – particularly emergencies in these fields and the intersection with emergency medicine. It will also be ideal for medical practitioners, nurse practitioners and the paramedical personnel working in these fields, as well as individuals who provide emergency care to divers in the workplace (such as diver medics and training agencies).
