Notes: 

  • Phone 1 is a direct dial to the provider and uses a keyword trigger so that if the caller says they’re from “HM coastguard” they get patched through immediately to the duty doctor without too many details being taken. 
  • Phone 2 is the BHA helpline with a voice menu giving options to be connected to the emergency numbers of all the different chambers, however this may not be the most efficient way of contacting a provider in an emergency.
  •  Adjacent to acute/secondary care including Emergency Department and ICU at Derriford Hospital. 
  • Helipad on Derriford site.
